3D Shockwave works by stimulating fat breakdown, lymphatic drainage and collagen synthesis. 

Acoustic Wave Therapy, also known as Shockwave Therapy uses Radial Pressure Waves which are pulses generated by compressed air. This drives a projectile in a cylinder, located inside a handpiece, to a shock transmitter.

This cylinder then hits the tip of the handpiece pushing the energy into the skin.

In turn, this shrinks and permeates fat cells promoting fat metabolism, activating the metabolism and clearing the system of impurities through lymphatic drainage, increasing blood supply for skin tightening and softening and strengthening the connective tissue to treat cellulite.

 You should begin to notice after 3 to 4 sessions. However, optimum results should be visible after one month, with 8-10 treatments recommended for longer-lasting results.

You can use this treatment as part of a fat reduction programme or as a standalone treatment, both delivering visible and outstanding results. 3D Shockwave treatment is powerful enough to reduce the appearance of even the toughest cellulite, lifting and firming the skin.

Some considerations could possibly hinder your ability to receive the cellulite treatment. If any of the following apply, you may not be eligible:

You have an infection

You are under 18 years old

You are pregnant or trying to conceive

You take anticoagulants such as warfarin

You have any tumours within the region of treatment

You have any implants within the area of treatment

The risks with 3D Shockwave treatments are generally low, and you have nothing to be concerned about.
